June 19, 2008 I have uploaded some recent work for Quo and a small selection of the stuff
I did for Marvel with David Aja on The Immortal Iron Fist. Above is the illustration of this months Que Leer for the feature on James Bond,
Last Sunday the presentation of The Children’s Book of American Birds nº6 was great. I had the chance to meet Alberto R. Torices, Rubén Lardín, Sergi Puertas and Marta Castro.
It was a pleasure and a lot of fun, thanks to everybody that stopped by.

He subido algunos trabajos recientes, tres para Quo, y una pequeña selección de las cosas en las que colaboré con David Aja para The Immortal Iron Fist de Marvel. La ilustración es para el número de Junio de Que Leer para el reportaje de James Bond.
El domingo pasado la presentación de la revista The Children’s book of American Birds nº6 fue muy divertida. Tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Alberto R. Torices, Rubén Lardín, Sergi Puertas and Marta Castro. Fue un lujazo y un buen rato, muchas gracias a todos los que os pasasteis por ahí.

June 05, 2008 El Club Leteo presenta el número 6 de 'The Children's Book of American Birds'. Club Leteo presents their new issue of 'The Children's Book of American Birds'. You can read the details on where and when they will be presenting the book in Leon and Barcelona on their website. The cover (above) is once again done by Arce following their tradition. I had the pleasure of illustrating one of the texts in the book by Antonio J. Alías, you can see it here.

I have been working on Immortal Iron Fist with David Aja for Marvel,
my first picture book, some stuff for Rolling Stone,
and tons of storyboards for Vitruvio Leo Burnett.
I might take a break after I am done with all this but before that I will upload the new work.

I have been attending the Illustration Academy for the last few weeks,
with George Pratt, Sterling Hundley, Mark English, Gary Kelley,Anita Kunz,
Jon Foster, Chris Payne and John English.
We still have two more weeks to go, so hopefully great things should be coming out of these days.
I have been experimenting a lot with monotypes and having fun working on
some experimental pieces that might become a new set of work for me.
On the side, one of the new illustrations for GQ Russia, and a cover for
Insu-Pu by Mira Lobe published by SM.

I have been working on some books, one in Spain and two in the States.
It has been a lot of fun to illustrate classics.
Check out Cuentos y Leyendas del Amor for Anaya & Monkey's Paw for Benchmark.
On the side I have been doing more collaboration work with David Aja, he is such a nice guy plus his work is amazing. I am hoping we will be able to post some of this work soon.
Also I have some work on shows now.

at the Society of Illustrators in the Advertising show.
And if you are in Spain, I have some pieces up in a group show in Santillana del Mar
in La Casa del Aguila. The exhibition is called "Espacios Compartidos".
